Matthias Masschelin

Matthias has been active in the energy sector for over 15 years in several product management roles.
He gained a lot of commodity trading and storage experience as product manager at Restore and Centrica and more recently he was active as Manager Energy-as-a-Service at ELIA.

Christophe Degrez

Christophe has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector.
He prepared the liberalisation for an incumbent from a pricing perspective. At market opening in 2002 he grew a new energy company to the first challenger in the Belgian market.
Since 2010 he headed Eneco in Belgium. Under his leadership, Eneco grew to the third Belgian energy company focusing on solar, wind and storage.
As entrepreneur Christophe is active in several energy related companies.

Kristof Vereenooghe

Kristof has over 25 years of experience as an international tech-entrepreneur and executive.
He has exited multiple ventures successfully such as the international cloud company Bynder.
He became CEO of EVBox and under his leadership, the dutch-only EV charging company, grew to a global EV-leader.
Kristof is also advisor for some PE funds and board member/investor in some tech start-ups and scale-ups.

Alexander Tanghe

After completing his master's thesis at an energy startup in Paris, Alexander joined Bnewable. His mission is to prioritise clients and prospects in our sales processes, keeping us at the forefront of the energy industry. As our eyes and ears in the market, Alexander will identify strategic partnerships, contribute to brand building, drive product innovation, and ensure the scalability of our operations. Through these efforts, he aims to propel Bnewable to new heights within the dynamic energy transition landscape.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector.
He was Managing Director at Eneco Energy and Trade for the trading activities of the Eneco group till recently. He has extensive experience in energy data exchange and trading.

As a strategic thinker with an unwavering passion for sustainability, Sebastiaan has the vital role of being our primary contact for clients and prospects, with a focus on the Flanders market.

Piotr has over 15 years of extensive experience in technology, having designed scalable and globally impactful solutions. He possesses deep expertise in cultivating and leading talented teams, fostering innovation and ensuring success. Piotr’s passion for technology fuels his belief in its transformative power to unleash human potential. Piotr has established and led software companies, while also actively participating in multiple business acquisitions and integration initiatives.

Damien has been working for several fast-growing companies in the energy sector, from N-SIDE to enspired and now Bnewable. He has built a strong expertise in algorithmic power trading and cross-markets asset optimisation. He is also an entrepreneur and co-founder of MeteoElec, a startup active in green power and smart mobility.

He gained a lot of energy management advice and services experience as Senior Key Account Manager at EDF Luminus. He has also developed several innovative projects for the industrial sector. Xavier is our primary contact for clients and prospects, with a focus on the Walloon market.
