Bnewable becomes a Balance Responsible Party (BRP)

Bnewable has been officially recognized as a Balance Responsible Party (BRP). This allows us to go beyond local battery optimization and actively participate in energy markets. What does this mean for our customers? Our Head of Product & Energy, Matthias, explains in a video.

As a Balancing Service Provider (BSP),we have already ensured that batteries provide flexibility to grid operators and contribute to grid stability. But with our new role as a Balance Responsible Party (BRP), we take it a step further.
This means we are no longer just optimizing batteries locally—we can now trade on all energy markets. By strategically leveraging market prices and aligning supply and demand, we unlock extra value and higher returns for our customers.
This step reinforces our broader vision of energy management: we don’t just develop and optimize battery solutions—we have full control over how and where they are deployed.This is how we truly make a difference.
