Job details.

As our Sales Engineer Bnewie, your responsibilities will be – among others – to:

  • provide technical expertise and support to the business development team (for our battery solutions) in identifying and pursuing energy concepts and products that align with client needs and market demands.
  • assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and technical documentation for client meetings and project bids, including detailed data analyses of customer data.
  • assist in building out the commercial prospection pipeline of target customers, including supporting in prospect contact and providing market analysis for the identification of target customers & segments.
  • study new needs of our existing and new clients and where possible synthesize and categorize customer needs for which Bnewable can create and provide a structural solution. Proactively shape this solution and help launch it within Bnewable so it becomes a structural part of Bnewable’s commercial offering.
  • provide insights for Product Management and our Marketing activities to improve Bnewable’s product proposal and enhance corporate branding and visibility.
  • perform business analysis to find new opportunities and optimize the current offering.
  • assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote our products/services.
  • keep track of and analyze key market trends such as competitor offerings, regulatory changes, network operator changes, new technologies, etc.
  • assist in the development and roll-out of workflows and best practices to automate and standardize sales & operations processes and help Bnewable roll-out projects at scale.
  • provide administrative and analytical support as needed.

You’ll be an integral part of the Business Development team, but you will also work closely with our Product, Operations and Technology #Bnewies, helping to develop innovative and unique value propositions that differentiate us from our competitors and tailor to our clients’ needs and expectations.

Your Profile.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor or Master degree, preferably in business, industrial or civil engineering, or a related field.
  • a data and process driven mind that can handle complexity.
  • strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • to be ambitious to work in a young energy company with lots of opportunities to learn and grow.
  • strong (electro)-technical background and knowledge of energy concepts and markets, with a solid understanding of industry and regulatory trends and best practices.
  • great communication and networking skills.
  • creativity and ability to think outside the box.
  • excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • a good dose of common sense and a focus on delivering results.
  • native fluency in Dutch and/or French and English, both oral and written.
