Energy trading markets
Of course, it is possible to trade your energy yourself. But for that you need extensive knowledge of both your local energy needs and trading on the various energy markets. These are just a few on which we sell your power, both short and long term.
- FCR: Bnewable becomes a BSP (Balancing Service Provider) by helping to build Frequency Containment Reserves (FCR). This frequency containment reserve responds automatically to compensate for deviations and stabilize power frequency.
- aFFR and mFFR: respectively the automatic and manual Frequency Restoration Reserve, or secondary reserves for a stable balance between production and offtake in Belgium.
- Day-ahead, intraday and imbalance: in these markets, power is traded on the day before delivery or on the day itself.
