Bnewable and Montea, a leading Belgian logistics real estate company, are jointly investing in this battery energy storage solution, well located in the port area of Ghent. This initiative fits within Montea’s ambition to reduce the ecological footprint of its sites, lower energy costs, and generate additional value through energy trading. This battery energy storage system is managed by Voltana, Bnewable’s energy management platform, and provides both local optimization and grid services.
