Enabling the energy transition for a leading player in industrial minerals and raw materials

About the project

Bnewable supports a leading producer of building materials in accelerating the transition to lower CO₂-emission materials. The site reinforces its energy transition through the addition of a large-scale PV installation of more than 10 MWp. A 7.5 MW BESS enables optimal savings on the energy bill by utilizing overproduction from the PV installation, responding to opportunities in the electricity market, and supporting grid stability. Self-consumption and further electrification of the site are thereby supported, contributing to a more sustainable value chain in construction.
